A small crew took a hiking trip to Mt. Washington for the weekend of May 30 - June 1, 2003. The weather for the weekend predicted rain on Sunday, so we went ahead with the plans. The weather cooperated for the hike on Saturday and made it a wonderful day hike.
Mt Washington is the highest mountain in New England and is know for the worst weather ever recorded. A hike to the summit is challenging and also very rewarding. Mt Washington also has a rail road to the summit and an auto road. There is a state park with weather observatory and museum on the top.
